The Instagram post made the rounds shortly after Brendan Rodgers side needed penalties to see off League Two side Carlisle in their third round League Cup fixtures.
The post was an obvious criticism of Rodgers tenure with an ironic list of his achievements since joining the Merseyside club. It included winning the Championship play-off final while at Swansea and "getting Mario Balotelli to defend a corner in 2014." Well done Brendan, well done.
The Italian has shown signs of his former self while on loan at Milan, netting an impressive free-kick against Udinese and setting a record number of passes for him (44) in a Serie A match.
