Sterling Fit Enough to Cash His Cheques at City

How to transport £50M worth of goods
Although he was essentially on his deathbed last week and was forced to miss not one, but two full days of training — Raheem Sterling pulled through and completed his medical at Manchester City.

The 220-year-old winger was photographed being assisted in and out of the hospital ahead of his £49M move to the Etihad.

With his recovery complete, he will reportedly fly to Australia to join up with his new teammates for their pre-season tour.
After two rejected bids, Manchester City and Liverpool have come to terms and made QPR a happy club. The West London side stand to gain £9M as part of Sterling’s move.

Earlier this week, Sterling drew criticism from former captain Steven Gerrard who said 'There are millions of Liverpool fans waiting to see Raheem pull on a Liverpool shirt.

'It looks very disappointing from where I'm sat. The fans have shown him great support, they want him to stay and I believe that he should too.

'It's very difficult for me to sit here and support him and the team around him...what they're trying to do with his career at a young age.

'It'll be a terrible shame if he goes somewhere and doesn't kick on as a player.

'It's slightly disappointing how far the situation has gone - but the only way I can see for him is out at the moment.'

With Sterling looking to earn more than £100K more a week than he did at Liverpool, I imagine his only reply to Gerrard would be “bothered.”
