Fabian Delph: Villa. No City. No Definitely Villa ....

Well this is terrible awkward ...
Things could have got awkward for Fabian Delph had he he publicly declared that he was staying at Aston Villa and become the poster boy for loyalty in football…

Just 6 days after Delph triumphantly announced that he was “proving there is still loyalty in football” and that he would be staying on at Aston Villa he has passed his medical at Manchester City after triggering his release clause.

This of course has seen social media go into an absolute meltdown as they decide whether he’s made a U-Turn or the lesser known O-Turn. At very minimum, it legitimises each and every person who incorrectly uses the term of someone doing a “360”.

United Get One Over on City with Top Young Player

Has no interest in kit launches
France Football has went rogue and not named the £49M man boy as top of their young footballers list this year. Manchester United new-boy, Memphis ‘I don’t need to wear a shirt’ Depay, tops their list of 50 young European talents.

Last season Memphis scored more goals than any other player in the Eredivisie. The 21 year old netted 20 and assisted another 5 goals in his 30 starts.

Despite making just over 20 starts between them, Depay’s teammates Luke Shaw and Adnan Januzaj also made the top 50. Something the three of them no doubt will be discussing on their pre-season tour of the US.

Although he was essentially on his deathbed last week and was forced to miss not one, but two full days of training — Raheem Sterling pulled through and completed his medical at Manchester City.

Former Chelsea misfit De Bruyne could be heading back to the PL

Could De Bruyne leave Bendtner?
Former Chelsea misfit Kevin De Bruyne is a man in demand - or so his agent would have you believe.

After leaving (being shipped out of) the London club for greener pastures to play alongside the likes of Lord Nicklas Bendtner at Wolfsburg, De Bruyne has helped his side come closer than anyone else to Bayern Munich’s reign aloft the Bundesliga.

The Belgian has picked up more assists (19) than any other player in Europe’s top 5 leagues this season, and added an additional 10 goals to his tally. So it stands to reason that a club or two might start batting their eyelashes at his Mr 15% over the summer.
